The Foundation: Our Three Pillars

The School of the Arts is the next expression of DG Inspired Studios’ mission — an environment where formation and creativity move together.

01 | Identity

Naming the Voice. Students discover who they are as artists and as image-bearers — naming their voice, their gifts, and their calling.

02 | Character

The Heart of the Artist. Discipline, humility, collaboration, and stewardship are cultivated alongside technical mastery and creative range.

03 | Craft

Building the Ark. Foundational artistic principles and hands-on practice build the skill, confidence, and portfolio for future specialization.

Meet our Instructors

Professional Artists and Educators

Alicia Sanchez

Dance Instructor demonstrating Modern Dance

Dance Department Instructor

Alicia Sanchez is an accomplished dancer and choreographer with training spanning ballet, modern, hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, tap, and worship dance. She has earned top honors at national competitions, including First Place in Troupe Hip-Hop and First Place in Human Video at the Fine Arts Festival. Beyond performance, Alicia has served in leadership roles within dance teams, contributing choreography and directing weekly ministry. Her classes blend technical discipline with creative expression — helping students discover movement as both an art form and an act of worship. She is passionate about developing young dancers who are confident, skilled, and rooted in purpose.

Matthew Sanchez

Acting instructor directing performance.

Acting & Transformational Storytelling Instructor

Matthew Sanchez brings over a decade of professional performance and production experience to the classroom. His training encompasses Meisner technique, stage combat, character development, script analysis, and stage direction — with extensive hands-on work in stage management, set design, and production coordination. Matthew has led and performed in major seasonal productions, theatrical concerts, and immersive dramatic experiences. His teaching philosophy is rooted in the conviction that every student carries a God-given story worth telling. At DG School of the Arts, he equips students with professional acting techniques while guiding them to uncover their unique voice and purpose.

Deborah Gambrel

Founder Deborah Gambrel of DG School of the Arts

Founder & Creative Director

Deborah Gambrel is the founder and creative visionary behind DG School of the Arts. Holding a B.S. in Elementary Education with a concentration in Arts for Youth from DePaul University (graduating with highest honors) and a B.A. in Pastoral Leadership from Faith Christian University, she brings a rare combination of pedagogical expertise and spiritual formation to arts education. Her vision is a generation of artists who steward their gifts with discipline and humility — creating with truth, beauty, and conviction. Deborah designed SOTA's foundational Three Pillars — Identity, Character, and Craft — to ensure every student develops not only as an artist but as an image-bearer called to shift atmospheres through holy imagination.
